The studio
A wash removes dirt. Detailing removes the evidence of time: the swirl marks from automatic brushes, the water spots baked in by the Mangaluru sun, the haze on a headlight, the salt that the coast leaves on everything. D24Studio exists for the owner who notices those things.
We work under inspection lighting, measure paint before we touch it, and quote after we've seen the car, not before. It's slower. It's also the only way to promise a result.
Every panel is read with a paint depth gauge before any machine polishing. We know how much clear coat there is to work with, and we leave most of it.
Coatings are levelled by hand, panel by panel, and cured in the bay. Nothing leaves while it's still tacky.
If a scratch is through to primer, we'll say so and point you to a painter. We correct what correction can fix.

Every job begins with an inspection and a straight conversation. Durations are typical for a mid-size car in fair condition. Bikes, SUVs and neglected paint move the numbers.
The process
Detailing is a sequence, and skipping a stage shows up months later as a coating that peels or a scratch that comes back. This is the order every car goes through here.
Paint depth read on every panel, defects mapped under LED and swirl-finder light, plan agreed with you before anything starts.
Foam, two-bucket wash, iron remover, tar remover, clay. The surface is chemically and physically clean before a pad touches it.
Compounding and polishing in stages, checked panel by panel. We remove the least paint that gives the finish you asked for.
Panel wipe, then coating or film. Applied in a dust-controlled bay, levelled by hand, and left to cure. Nothing gets wet for a day.
Final inspection with you, under the same lights we started with. You leave with a care sheet and a wash schedule that suits the coast.

The studio is on the Amrithnagar stretch in Pandeshwar, directly opposite Bharath Chicken. Drive in, or drop the car and take a walk to the water. Drop-off and pick-up in the city can be arranged for multi-day jobs.

A professionally applied coating on corrected paint typically protects for two to five years, depending on the product, how the car is washed and how much sun and salt it sees. Maintenance washes every few weeks keep it performing.
Paint correction takes one to three days. Ceramic coating adds a 24 hour cure. Paint protection film takes two to five days depending on coverage. Interior detailing is usually a single day. We confirm timing after inspecting the car.
If the scratch is in the clear coat, yes. If your fingernail catches in it, it has usually gone through to the primer and needs paint, not polishing. We will tell you honestly at inspection.
