What PPF is
Paint protection film is a thick, clear urethane film laid over the paint. Stone chips on the highway, scuffs in tight parking and the odd door ding land on the film instead of the paint. Light scratches in the top layer heal with heat from the sun or warm water.
It is the strongest protection you can put on a car. Gloss film keeps the factory shine; satin film turns a gloss car matte and protects it at the same time.
Full body or just the front?
Full body film covers every painted panel. If budget matters, a front kit (bonnet, bumper, mirrors and headlamps) covers the areas that take most of the hits, and door edges and sills can be added. Partial coverage is priced per square foot.
How we fit it
The car is washed, decontaminated and, where needed, polished before any film goes on, because film shows every flaw underneath. Edges are wrapped and tucked where the panel allows and seams are placed where they won't catch the eye.

Is PPF better than ceramic coating?
They do different jobs. Film physically stops stone chips and scratches; a coating makes paint glossy and easy to clean but won't stop a chip. Many owners film the front or the whole car and coat the film for easy washing.
